My Turbo

I have been wanting to use turbo tax every since I bought my house. My wife and I were afraid that we would make a mistake and loose money. What I found out was that the tax person who was doing my taxes charged a lot of money and did not get me all of the deductions that I saw for myself. I will continue to use turbo tax in the future. Thwere are some areas I believe need clear definitions. But I managed to work around it.

Overall very good program! The tax laws are very hard to understand and Turbo Tax tries hard to make sense of it all. At some points it is still confusing.
What's great about it: Fairly easy to use
What's not so great: Some area are a bit difficult to understand,needed clarity help

An excellent software program, I would recommend any one to use it!!!! I have used this program atleast 10 years and have been hooked ever since. Great program. I want to give an extra special thanks to Turbo Tax on a job well done yet once again this year!!!!

Patience Above and Beyond

Last year we paid a CPA $260 to do our taxes and they weren't complicated, but we liked knowing she knew what she was doing. We felt brave this year and many friends and family use Turbo Tax, so we thought we would give it a try. I am so happy we did. If we can do it, I know you can do it, too. Gather up all your information and go for it!
What's great about it: Easy to use, step by step, asks all the right questions, Excellent, excellent Support

Easy does it!!

Have been using Turbo Tax for many years. Hate to even think of going to another product since this one is so easy to use and by using the import fucntion saves a lot of time not having re-enter last years data and it is nice to see an ongoing comparison between last year and current year. Helps also to make sure all items have been covered. Easy access to the actual IRS form helps in some cases also.
What's great about it: Easy to follow - took about 2 hours to do entire return + one state
What's not so great: When reviewing it appears to forget that some of the items have been marked yes or no

Taxes are tough

Overall, I'm very pleased with TurboTax. I hate the wait time to see my tax preparer.

Have been using Turbo Tax for years and I find it very easy to use. This year there was one hiccup doing my taxes and don't know whether others have had similar probelms - when trying to get to 'state' form, the screen showed "getting your state" and "software up to date" but did not move forward to another screen - I had to close out and restart in order to move forward which was annoying
What's great about it: Easy to use
What's not so great: Might have bug - minor problem filing state form

loved you could add last years info in along with entering in my employers Id number and it was all inputted for me. i will use this again because of that, and many other things..
What's great about it: Easy and very helpfull. adding in the information automatically was a DREAM
What's not so great: at times some of the lingo was confusing and i was unsure if i entered the right stuff in.
