have had great experiences previously with turbo tax but got very frustrated trying to get state forms and web site to fix this issue was slow
What's great about it: fast and easy data entry
What's not so great: got into a loop trying to download state forms which added about 2 hours to filing return
Pros: I bought or sold investments

i do like turbo tax but not every body can afford anew computer every few years.
What's great about it: quick and easy to use
What's not so great: had to find another computer to install it wont work on my 2006 mac
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

2012 Tax

I love that I can do my taxes myself and feel confident that they are done right. My taxes are getting more and more complicated but with TurboTax I can get through them just fine.
I love being able to chat with a tax expert.
What's great about it: I was able to handle RDP issues. Tax expert a real plus.
What's not so great: Would like to have been guided re non business bad debt

Too much paper & ink

I would like to see it easier to select the minimal forms to send in to the IRS and State. For example, I printed all and got 33 pages. I didn't need the estimated tax vouchers that printed out or the "thank you" letter, etc. If you could give us a list of minimum items to print & mail, it would be helpful.

Had to file fed and 2 state returns. Glad I had Turbo tax.
What's great about it: Everthing was at my finger-tips.
What's not so great: Couldn't get state forms to load first day. Loaded the next ok.

found this years to be confusing to use compared to other years. had to enter tax work twice because of no auto save. r eally was turned off by this years style. no pie diagrams at he end to compare with other taxpayers. or showing average deductions were in general. this is the fifth year with turbo tax and was disappointed with the difficulty of ity
