I have used TurboTax for quite a few years now and find it relatively easy to use. I like that I am able to continually add and update as new information is sent to me.

I will probably continue to use TurboTax in the future, but was not happy having to wait 3 weeks to be approved. It may have been the IRS that held up my return.
What's great about it: thorough and easy filing.
What's not so great: first time in 5 years of TT I had to wait 3 weeks to be approved

Good, but....

The bullets in pros and cons say it all. Since I pay moore every year by letting Intuit ship it automatically every year, i will shop for better bargains next year and that may include an entirely different program.
What's great about it: Easy tax prep, organized & logical
What's not so great: State efile shouold be included if one state is, I buy directly every year but could get cheeper at a local store

The program led me issue by issue to get my taxes in IRS format. It allowed me to work on the taxes whenever I wanted to and also allowed me to exit and then pick up where I left off.
I was allowed to re-check entries whenever I wanted and make corrections if needed-- and it always kept track in real time of how much I owed or how much was owed to me.
This process was not painful!

Harder than Last Year

I found that it was more difficult for 2012 than it was for 2011 to get to the required forms for submitting 'Home Office" data using the step-by-step guide. In fact getting to where you need to by to enter Form C information for 'home office' was difficult to navigate to, no matter which approach you decided to use!
