So far, great!

Been using since about 2006... Very easy to use; I used telephone support and they were very helpful. I am very satisfied & will continue to use this product!
What's great about it: user friendly/easy to navigate screen/easy to flip back and forth to see forms
What's not so great: ? none come to mind

Good but far from perfect

I have used Turbo Tax for several years and continue to use it. It is fairly easy to use and understand and saves lots of my labor. Main complaints: 1) it is too sequential and makes it hard to work on parts of the return as early tax information becomes available (I like to break the task into smaller parts) and 2) it is tedious to retrieve forms which will be filed while inputs are in progress. I still see the tax return in terms of the final forms rather than discrete inputs. For fairly simple tax situations like ours, Turbo Tax works well, and I will most likely use it next tax season.
What's great about it: fairly easy to use
What's not so great: makes it too hard to get information while working

First Time User

I am a first time user ot Turbo Tax. I found doing our taxes this way very insightfull, but difficult, as we have never done them by ourselves before this year. The program seems very good and seems to ask every question needed, even if you have a home office, it's just learning how to navigate some of the input areas, which can be tricky.
Other than that, I believe I will continue to use Turbo Tax in the future.

What's great about it: Easy to use and very comprehensive
What's not so great: It takes a lot of time, so patience is necessary, but worth it.

Have used Turbo Tax since it began and have never been disappointed with its ease of use and helpful tips and explanations. We recommend it to all our friends.
What's great about it: easy to use and step by step also the help
What's not so great: none
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

I have used Turbo Tax for ten years or so. I like being able to walk away from it for a while and then return and pick up where I left off. I have seen the directions and guidance become more user friendly over the years, even for those that don't deal with taxes everyday. I especially like the audti reviews at the end. Electronic filing is a joy. I finished my taxes in a much shorter time than I anticipated this year!
Sometimes I feel the jargon is ambiguous, although I realize this is how the law is written. It would be nice to see more examples, especially of recent law changes.

Print to mail software glitch

I e filed and it was rejected, When attempting to file by mail, your system prints out Efile returns and instructions for e file even when printing out "file by Mail" is selected. This makes the whole thing confusing and does not provide the information needed to mail the returns. Will likely try another source next years,

Tax Experts Going the extra step

Had numerous issues as for a multi-state return was needed. Had spent several hours with tax assistant as their Computers had crashed, Cant imagine how many people connect to them for assistance. This Tuesday Morning I was able to get on with in a couple of minutes and spoke to a man in Rochester NY who was very educated and understanding. Walked me through the entire program from start to finish to make sure all was 100%. I did not think to ask for a name or ID # as He should be recognized for his customer service and knowledge. I will see You (TURBO TAX) next year for the third Year. Thank you
What's great about it: Taking Time to Listen and walk you through
What's not so great: Wait times before being connected and some are not so English speaking
Pros: I moved, My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion), I bought or sold investments
