Some errors; mostly good experience

For example, in the Connecticut State Return, I was asked if I wanted Connecticut DRS to calculate my penalty for not having paid sufficient Estimated Tax Payments during the year, even though I was getting a sizable refund. (The difference between Estimated Payments and Tax Due was made up by State Tax Withholding from several sources during the year.)
What's great about it: Wonderful time-saver. Gets right to the point. It's fun to run.
What's not so great: A few places where the results of one page didn't logically move to the next item.

HAVE USED TURBO TAX FOR MANY YEARS. MY RETURNS ARE MUCH SHORTER AND REQUIRE LESS INPUT SINCE MY RETIREMENT.
What's great about it: EASE OF PREPARATION
What's not so great: TOO MANY UPGRADES AFTER RECEIVING ORIGINAL DISC

Straight forward tax returns

Turbo Tax gives you the confidence that you are doing it right: start with an automated transfer of all your data from the previous year; then follow a step by step approach that guides you through your return. If you don't understand something, or want more information, the detailed help section finds many of the answers you are looking for. I've been using Turbo Tax for the past 7 years, and I will keep on doing so.
What's great about it: Step by step approach, with detailed explanations when required

Easy file

After retiring this year, I knew my taxes would be more difficult than usual. But Turbo Tax made it easier.
What's great about it: Step by step walk-through.
What's not so great: State e-file fee
Pros: I moved, My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)
