Maybe downhill over previous years??

Pretty good, but Turbo Tax often asks me questions it doesn't need to. I've been using TT for many many years without fail, so why is it asking me questions to figure AMT when it already has that information imported from previous returns?? It's very confusing and needs to be fixed. Furthermore, it's getting harder and harder to get expert help, turbo tax just takes you to the IRS website a lot and uses their instructions and forms... I can do that with Google a lot easier than going through their site, and get all kinds of tax advice from the net that is just as good and less vague as TT provides.
I do very much like the fact that I can see what happens to my tax bill as I enter different things. That way in future years I know what receipts to keep and when something is going to be deductible (kind of#.
E filing is very easy and quick. Never had a problem in years.
All in all TT is a great way to do your taxes if you are the kind that likes to keep track of stuff, rather than hiring an expensive tax professional #who probably uses the same type of software anyway...).

Worst Turbo Tax year ever

I and many others have finished our returns, but we cannot print our returns. I have tried 5 times to print it and cannot.
I noticed that many others cannot figure out how to print their returns. This is frustrating. I may have to buy another company's program just to print my returns. This is so darn irritating that this may be my last year to use Turbo Tax.

Form 8938 was difficult to use and impossible to fill out completely on extra copies. It ended up with only my husband's name on my individual account.
Going back to a completed section to edit and/or switching back from "navigating by myself" to "step-by-step" often put me WAY back -- and not all my previous answers were preserved, so I had to check boxes again... It was unnecessarily laborious.
What's not so great: This TurboTax didn't seem as polished as previous years.

Bogus errors showed up on some boxes. Zeroes were pre-filled. I deleted the zero value and left the field blank. This was preventing e-filing. It was the first time I've had problems in 10 years. Detracted from a 5 - Star rating.
What's great about it: Super easy as usual.
What's not so great: There were pre-filled zeros on some worksheets that were flagged as errors.
