Best Tax Software Ever

I think this software is really great. I have been a user for a long time and I have never been dissatisfied. Really great program and really great sercvice and support.
What's great about it: I have used this program for years. All the way since Window 3 or about then., It has been improved each year.
What's not so great: None

Technical errors

Would not retrieve automated PIN. Would not down load State return until program was reinstalled several times. Many glitches in this program!

Answering the questions is great. They are simply asked and one can usually figure out what is wanted. I found it hard to deal with CD redemptions. There was no indication how to deal with them.
The state return took much longer than the federal return. I don't know why it seemed so laborious. I had no idea if PA exempted tax-exempt muni dividends. It took quite a while to track down. It turns out to be a percentage--a very small percentage.

Easy Peasy

Overall, easy. I've been doing our taxes myself for as long as we've been married.... 15 years!
What's great about it: I like that it transfers all the info for you from previous year. It also does a comparison from previous year.
What's not so great: suggested a different filing status, but didn't automatically seperate the deductions for me.
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

Piece of Cake

This year was a snap. The only problem I had was when I downloaded the state file it would not start. I finally saved, closed out the Turbo Tax and restarted and then the state started correctly.
What's great about it: Easy - Fast - Intuitive
What's not so great: $$$

I have been paying CPA to do my taxes for years and what
I got from TurboTax is exactly the same results for 1/10th the cost. I am hooked.
