Awesome to see the progress of my returns!

All in all, this is my 6th year of doing my tax's with turbo tax. I wouldn't do it with any other software program. Great, guide you along the way explanations.
What's great about it: Quick and easy for single parents looking to stretch every dollar.
What's not so great: Itemizing should be explained prior to starting turbo tax.

Added Complications

Program has become less flexible and more complicated. Language has become ambiguous in some areas. exp: Withdrawals are used to describe income from either 401k/iras or retirement annuities. I've been using turbo tax for 8 years and I had to manually enter my military retirement annuity. I had to use help support twice this year and I've never had to do that before and I have no more complications than I ever had.
What's great about it: Privacy and convenience
What's not so great: Rigidity

Excellent, But.....

Long-time user. Continues to shorten the process and the step-by-step method is very helpful.
Only problem this year...it would not open the state after it downloaded it. Was able to find help within the program (apparently is a wide-spread issue), but quite annoying.
Overall...A -
What's great about it: Very easy to use
What's not so great: Pain in the ... when it keeps going back to the list of things that have been covered.

clunky and confusing

It's hard to know where you are in the process in case you want to go back and change something from earlier. It just feels like you're lost half the time. The help topics revealed nothing of use.
What's great about it: got my taxes done
What's not so great: didn't import information from last year's return even though i did it with turbo tax.

There is a bug in the Minnesota state return

The Federal return works fine as in the past.
The Minnesota Return has a persistent error (as of 3/3/13).
It says the Minn return is ineligible for e-filing because "The return has withholding from other sources on Schedule M1W." when this is not the case. A work-around is available on the Turbo Tax forum.

My PC died

I completed both Federal and State forms but didn't immediately E-File. My PC died and i needed to complete the process on another PC. Used the disk and it loaded without problem, but I needed to download the State again (which was expected). Checked that all information originally inputt was correct and E-Filed without problem.
What's great about it: TT loaded both Federal and State on alternate PC.
What's not so great: "I got nuthin'"

Quick and EASY

I really LOVE TurboTax! It explains everthing you are doing in laymans terms. I am actually starting to understand my taxes better every year I file! The more I use TurboTax the more I love filing my taxes! It is extremely easy to use. It literally spells everything out so that you understand what you are doing. If you do have a question about anything, they have a very detailed help section and online CHAT to assist you. I have never experienced an audit or any other issue with my returns. They are done properly and timely. The best part is how easy it is the next year! Turbotax transfers everything you enter the previous year to make your filing time even shorter! They also show comparisons of the current and previous tax years you filed, thoughout your filing process, to improve accuracy. I just can't say enough about how much TurboTax has helped me and my family look forward to a timely, correct, problem free return year after year.
What's great about it: Extremely easy to get my return done and it's in laymans terms!
What's not so great: Some deductions could have been explained more.

Amazing Refund

I have been using turbo tax for last 10 years, and like it very much. I feel any less skilled computer person can do taxes via turbo tax.
