Recommend Turbo Tax

We like Turbo Tax. It is easy to use and it makes it easy to review every form and worksheet. However, be sure to check everything. We filed "Married filing Joint", but Turbo Tax entered my spouse as being single! We were able to easily correct it when we reviewed everything.
What's great about it: Easy and easy to review every form
What's not so great: Turbo Tax made one error that I corrected before filing; "married filing joint" and Turbo listed my spouse as "single"

Little bumpy this year,,,,,

Had to call customer support to complete my state filing. Think everyone had problem with accessing the state filing. Customer support was very good ONCE I found the phone number!! Talked me thru manually loading the state file and then I was off and running again.
What's great about it: covers everything and is easy to use
What's not so great: couldn't get state filing done. Had to call customer support

Simple & Easy

T'Tax continues to lead the field in thoroughness and simplicity for filing error free returns (despite what the former SecTreasury might have said!). I have been using T'Tax for years and have never been disappointed.
What's great about it: Simple & Easy to file my taxes

I've exclusively been using Turbo Tax ,it seems forever.Messy desk,calculator ,scribbled notes are all passe.Thank you for this product!!!

Solid product, disappointing software performance

I have been using Turbo Tax for 8 years. It has always been very straight forward to use and this year was no exception. What was an exception about this year was that the software application itself was a dog. Response time was very poor. Additionally, this is the first year that I have encountered errors with the product that actually resulted in me having to redo a tax return. Hopefully this is not indicative of what to expect in the future.
What's great about it: Turbo tax is easy to use, accurate and complete.
What's not so great: Software performance significantly lacked with this version

What's great about it: Ease of understanding complicated tax changes
What's not so great: DIfficult to go back to the exact same spot where I saved it previously
