Confusion for Investors

"Just log in as you normally would". This is the message on screen when trying to download a 1099 from TD Ameritrade (my broker). But it is nothing like "I normally would". The account number on the 1099 is not my normal account number and there is no password entry. How is that like "I normally would"?
What's great about it: Leads through the issues nicely . . . with a big exception

Excellent Service

I've been using Turbo Tax for many years and felt confident and at ease in getting my tax returns correct. I did have a problem one year but that was because I entered $ in the wrong place, not a TT error and they explained in easy to understand terms what I did wrong. Tax laws are scarey! TT takes the fear out of preparing returns. Very easy and gives lots of info when in doubt.

Pretty Darn Easy

In general, we really like TurboTax. We've been loyal customers for 13 years. Last year and this have definitely been our best TT experiences, with last year outweighing this only because we had an odd W2 situation and the program didn't really have any guidance on it. (My husband was issued two W2's, and an internet query indicated the second could have simply been an "extension" of the first, so the values had to be summed.) But overall it's always a great experience, and that's why we keep coming back.
What's great about it: Generally simple
What's not so great: Weird situations are hard to sort out

Turbo Tax is the greatest. It's very easy to follow. The steps Turbo Tax take you through are so simple. I've recommended Turbo Tax to all my friends. Thank you so much. I will continue to use Turbo Tax and encourage my friends to do the same. Thank you once again for Turbo Tax.

2012 Turbo Tax

It was very easy to use and any time I had a question the explanation was there by clicking on the ? It helped to know when something would be unusual or out of the normal to have received information from a bank, gov't, lender, etc.
I have used it for years and each time they seem to improve it.
What's great about it: It was very easy to use and fast.
What's not so great: Only one was when I wanted to print after E-Filing both State and Fed, it showed me a preview but no button to click on.
