Makes it easy

It would be helpful if you have a list of forms one might need at the beginning of the process. I forgot about one and had to stop in the middle and go find it.
What's great about it: It was very easy to follow.
What's not so great: didn't always know what forms I'd need ahead of time

Annual task made easy!

Doing your taxes has been compared to a dental root canal with no sedative. TurboTax is the novocaine. Begin with gathering ALL the necessary paper work. Read through the entire TurboTax program, it does not take that long. This will give you an idea of what is going to be needed to successfully complete your federal and state taxes. I followed my own advice and had only one (1) error during the review and that was my fault for not entering a requested amount. TurboTax caught it, I complied and the second run of the error check was perfect. I have used TurboTax for nearly 10 years, and will continue to do so. Thanks TurboTax, Judge Bob
What's great about it: Easy to follow. Help when you need it.
What's not so great: Some of the questions are confusing, but help is available.
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion), I moved, I bought or sold investments

Easy to use--save money on an acccountant and do at our leisure. A few hours in one day and you are done.
What's great about it: Easy--walks you through each step

Yeah! Tax Refund is Coming!

This is like, the 5th year, I entrust the filing of my income taxes to TurboTax software. I refuse to pay anyone else for something I can just do myself, with the software, in PJs, in front of my own home computer. Not only do I avoid the lines at the tax preparation places, but they are not handling my confidential documents and taking my money. I also love how quick I see my tax return when e-filing.

Munibond Income Issues...AGAIN

This program should PROMPT the user for tax exempt income from his/her home state rather than the user having to know to manually break it apart from tax exempt income obtained from other states. This is a year after year issue with TurboTax....without the user manually manipulating tax exempt income, TurboTax would overcharge the taxpayer!!!

Easier than ever!

Any of the items I wasn't sure about before I started, were quickly resolved as I began. Turbo Tax asked all the right questions so I knew exactly what I could use and which fields to complete! I've been a user for many years, but this version was by far the easiest to use!

Some hits and some misses

It is reasonably easy to use, but I found several items where the tax laws needed more explanation. There were also several steps in the Turbo Tax process that were not clear. The makers of Turbo Tax could quickly improve the product if there was a convenient way to make suggestions or comments on each screen. I didn't stop and make notes of the problems this year, and I'm too old to remember what they all were.
What's great about it: Big improvement over doing it by hand
What's not so great: Many question left unanswered
