Excellent Product and Support

Went very quickly once started. Asked appropriate and reasonable number of questions. Excellent support in resolving one issue.
What's great about it: Resolved the one issue I had with the federal partnership form
What's not so great: Would like to have been notified of additional fees upfront before starting the process.

Great experience, everytime!

Overall I like the program a lot and have used it since 2007.
One downfall I noticed this year is entering 0.00 in a dollar amount box to let me know I looked at that box caused problems with my error check and actually reduced my return. Luckily error check did catch it, I corrected it, and watched my return go up. So I went back through all the information I entered and removed 0.00 from all dollar amount boxes to play it safe.

What's great about it: Thorough review in the comfort of your home.
What's not so great: Entering 0.00 in a box instead of leaving it blank, can reduce your return.

Disappointed in the final docs

Last year - filing 2011 - i noticed that the final doc for 1099Q was filled in incorrectly (just names/ssns at the top - numbers were fine) - i actually chatted with TT - they agreed but said it was a miinor imperfection. i did not e-file last year - because i new the forms were not correct. i decided to try again this year. Not only is the 1099Q incorrect again - but they even have an old name filled in that is no longer a dependent.
Most folks might think this minor - but i still think it is inexcusable for tax software - it will be the last time i use TT

Generally good

Everything was great until I went to E-filing. It took me through the whole process and then said I needed to remove the number on line X. Well, I can't do that. Why didn't it figure that out before taking me through the whole process? And I still don't know what happened with my state return -- it was supposed to come back and print a form for me to sign. It took my money for the state e-filing (before telling me about the problem on line X of my federal return). Is it being filed? Don't know.
What's great about it: Easy to use

Turbo tax is definitely easy to use. I like the way I'm guided through the various categories -- it's like having a checklist to make sure you don't miss anything!
I had no problems whatsoever this year using my Mac. Glad the problems encountered last year were corrected! I'm always happy to recommend Turbo Tax to my friends.
What's great about it: Easy to use
What's not so great: Can't think of any!
