Pretty Easy

I will definitely be using turbo tax again next year. I will recommend it to my friends as well.
What's great about it: It was easy to work with and answered some of my questions right away.
What's not so great: My biggest problem was trying to find out how to put the information in for SSi.

Easy job

It took a while to do my return, but turbo tax makes it easier. For some reason I was not able to transfer my 2011 info to 2012. I have been using this software for two years already.
What's great about it: It cannot get any better.
What's not so great: Transferring info from 2011
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

Good, but slow

We've done taxes by hand, by accountant, by H&R block and via Turbo Tax. Turbo tax is the best value for my time. We found we were spending nearly the same amount of time collecting information and sitting with the tax preparers as we were doing it with Turbo Tax, but we got to pay less and stay home.
However, they need to optimize the speed of their download and updates. Part of the benefit described above is convenience, which is eroded when I have to wait 10 minutes for the app to start up, check for updates, install them and restart.

What's great about it: Detailed walk throughs are excellent. Do it at your own pace
What's not so great: I really don't understand why this product is so slow to start. ESPECIALLY updates.

Loved the easy way to do taxes

It would have been nice to have the error message, then a one click that would have taken me directly to where the problem was.
Every time I opened up turbo tax, my estimated taxes kept changing - the program kept asking me for different information each time. I gave up on that part of it and will calculate my own estimated taxes.
What's great about it: easy to enter my information
What's not so great: It was difficult to correct errors and get my estimated taxes correct.

It Doesn't Import Everything!

Ran through the program and requested to import my information from the previous year. Unfortunately, the tax status of my pension was not imported and the question dealing with it was vague as it related to the type of pension I had, requiring to do the whole thing over again and filing amended returns.
What's great about it: Fairly easy to transfer data
What's not so great: Overlooks some very important issues and frails to transfer status

I wouldn't consider doing taxes any other way.
What's great about it: Covers everything. No math errors. Catches all deductions.
What's not so great: Hand some trouble finding way to edit personal information.
