Changes every year

I have used both Quicken & Turbo Tax for many years. I have always been able to file my taxes successfully, but it is a learning experience every year with the changes or "updates." This year I coould not review the detail line items of the imported data. If I thought one was wrong, I had to go back to Quicken and seach out and guess which line item was incorrect. Example, TTx generated a W2 for me and I had to go to several places in Quicken to find where I had mis-classified the tax line for a monthly item. It would have been less time consuming had I been able to see the item in TTx and then simply go to Quicken, correct the error and re-import. Why do you find it necessary to reinvent the wheel every year?
What's great about it: There are many things I like, including the ability to import from Quicken
What's not so great: This year I could only see the summary of what was imported, but not able to review the details of the import.

Need to work out some bugs!

Usually TurboTax has worked great, but there were some bugs this year. To get my State return to actually come up, I had to log off and log back in. Then after filing, I couldn't get any of the forms to come up for preview or printing. I finally saved the file to my desktop as a pdf and was able to open & print it from there, but it still took a really long time to open.
What's great about it: The returns were quick & easy once I got the State one to open
What's not so great: Software issues this year with not wanting to load State return, kept looping, & wouldn't open returns to print

The software is easy. It will walk you right through your taxes. I think its easier than going to a CPA, at least more convenient.
What's great about it: They walked me right through everything.
What's not so great: I couldn't find any problems.
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

Excellent Recall

I love the fact that it adjusted what I used last year and updated for this year. It would be nice though if on the kids returns it gave a check box to allow carryover information on tuition up to parents return.
What's great about it: remembered last year
What's not so great: did not tie kids returns with parents returns

no free state

When i purchased turbo tax deluxe, the package stated free state e-file included. upon completing state e-file, i was prompted to make a $19.99 payment before proceeding. False advertising!
