Turbo tax is so easy to use, I "almost" look forward to doing our taxes each year. Thanks for making this such a great user friendly tool.
What's great about it: Step by step guidance and drop down Help is great. Program is very user friendly and well organized.

Love That TurboTax

Turbotax has been my "go to" tax preparation assistant for the last 10 years. The comprehensive approach to completing my taxes is only exceeded by the simplicity of the system. I used to pay three times the cost of preparing and filing my federal and state returns with TurboTax. In addition, I feel completely confident that I am receiving the truest calculation of taxes/refunds.
What's great about it: Comprehensive, yet simple
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

Filed Earlier Than Ever!

I have been using TurboTax since it first came out and have had few, if any, problems with it over the years. The major typo I found was corrected immediately and downloaded and installed on my next update. My taxes are now filed earlier that I have ever completed them before.
What's great about it: Ease of use and accuracy of questions.
What's not so great: Found one major typo.
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion), I bought or sold investments

Fairly Painless, and Easy

was a little nervous, hadn't done my own taxes in over 15 years. Marriage, kids, mortgage, always easier to let someone do the heavy lifting and give me the peice of mind everything was done. But finanances made be look into cheaper alternatives but tools as effective as the Tax guy used every year to put the same numbers in the same boxes again and again, the only things that changed was the fact my refund kept getting lower and their prices kept getting higher.
Well Turbo Tax made it easy and let me take control of my own Taxes making sure as much as my refund went exactly to the person who did all the work for it... Me! Just give your self the time to make sure your completing everything correctly and you cut out the middle man who is taking hundreds of dollars from you just to put numbers in predefined boxes. just follow A to B to C to Done! and you know what... Paying for the tool to do it yourself means you can write yourself that check you would of given to someone else.
My only real complaint is State e-file should be included as part of the software. Don't try to get extra money out of me... when the package Infers it will do it all but after looking closer is small print it says free to print but an extra charge for e-file. When you buy the deluxe federal and state return software... you think it will do both the same way with out extra steps or extra work. Otherwise I would of bought the Federal Only edition. if you have simple returns and want easy software to help you get them done quick and mostly painless, TurboTax delivered and I can say I will probally use it again next year and write myself that check for Tax Preperation Fees. :)

Turbo tax was an excellent resource for our family. The walkthrough was concise, thorough and easy to understand. It made doing taxes SO much easier than doing it by hand.
