I had a bit of issue with a car donation when I did not have the required form sent. I had a supporting letter rather than the form but the online version of turbo tax could not let me put this in. I had do wait in line for about an hour for a chat representative who then had me download the software version and fix the form manually. Kinda lame that you can't edit your forms in the online version as they are the same price as the software version. Don't really think that is fair but at least I got my issue resolved and got everything filed okay.

I have used Turbo tax for over 15 years and have been very satisfied with the results. The guided method of entry, instant calculation, running refund/amount owed with each input allows me to see what is the impact of income and deductions. The transfer of basic information from year to year shortens the time required for input and ensures an accurate return.
What's great about it: Ease of entry; running refund/amount owed
What's not so great: Allow more years comparison (5~10 years); please stop advertising it's like a GPS - it is NOT - no satellites were used!

I like the Error check and the Flag check.
Could not figure out how to apply my state tax to my state e-file purchase. If you know the state, why couldn't Intuit add the sales tax, or give me the option to enter it.
Been using Turbo Tax since around 2003.

What's great about it: Easy to use, informative, download of previous years
What's not so great: Had to buy a new computer, 2013 Turbo Tax was not compatible.

Turbo Tax is easy to understand, asks all the right questions ans thinks of thing the average person would not as it pertains to their taxes and deducitons.

I am SO glad for the Review function - with our changed financial status this year, it would have been so easy to forget something. We just worked down the checklist. The Review function didn't seem as picky as it used to be & didn't bring everything to a complete halt if it found a potential problem, for which I am grateful - there were a couple items I had to research or let stand, & I wasn't trapped in TurboTax in the meantime. Printing, however, seemed less straight-forward. Had to go into Print Preview & let it open an Acrobat Reader box before I could print. A plain old "Print" button would have been nicer.
What's great about it: Reminders of previous year's returns
What's not so great: Printing via PDF Print Preview
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

Less Taxed

I've used Turbo Tax for many years. Last year, 2011, was the only year that I've had a glitch. They have obviously fixed the hiccup and all has gone well again this year. Will continue to use this product!
What's great about it: Step by step guidance
What's not so great: Just a couple questions that were a bit difficult to answer.
