Money better at home

I'm a degreed accountant, but you don't need to be one to use TurboTax. Anyone with decent math skills, who does their own banking and bills, should be able to to their taxes also. Years ago, when I had to do our taxes manually, it was somewhat of a drudgery task, especially for investments. But TurboTax makes short work of investments and all the necessary forms. Thanks, keep up the good work. Also, I've finally started to E-file and trust the security of the IRS online system.
What's great about it: Easy to follow and complete.

Using TurboTax was very easy and allowed me to complete my taxes in about an hour. I have used for several years and is worth every penny.

Crashed... A LOT

Used TurboTax Deluxe+State on Windows XP Home. It crashed about 4 or 5 times during my return. Though I became very good at clicking "Save" after every step, I lost data serveral times and this really lengthened the time it took to get my taxes done.
What's great about it: Easy to use
What's not so great: Crashed, crashed, crashed

This is the 4th year I've used TurboTax. It's outstandingly easy to use with many valuable features. The automatic transfer of prior years information if you previously filed with TurboTax is great. The instructions are easy to follow and very comprehensive. The imbedded Help tips are a great way to find out more, in a separate window so you don't mess up your main filing.
I recommend this product highly and will use it myself for many more years.
What's great about it: Great transfer of prior year filings if you previously used TurboTax. Easy to follow instructions. Great help tips.

This is definitely a very user friendly product. I do have one suggestion that would have helped me through the question/answer/review process. I would have liked to have seen each question have the tax form (ie: 1040) and section/line number (ie: Adjusted Gross Income/Line 32) in parenthesis. This would have helped me to know which questions are associated with which forms and sections when reviewing my completed tax forms at the end. I would recommend this product for anyone trying to complete their own taxes.
