Easiest Turbotax Ever

We have used Turbotax Deluxe for several years, but the 2012 version was by far our best experience. It was straightforward, quick, and trustworthy. Great refund too! Thanks!

Straightforward Process for Complex Return

This program saves me many hours preparing a relatively complex return with earned income, pension and social security income, investments, and two rental properties. The automatic carry-forward from year to year is an added bonus, as is the year-by-year comparison as well as audit probability. I will keep using this product each year.
What's great about it: Step by step entry covers all the bases. Form view provides perspective.
What's not so great: Be sure to compare the step-by-step entries with the form views.

The Good The Bad and The Ugly

Paid for software then had to pay additional for State return and an additional bank fee. This should be stated on package and/or mentioned before you start the return
What's great about it: Easy to follow
What's not so great: could not quit and go back to return

Very easy!!

I've been using turbo tax for a few years and it keeps getting easier and easier. I procrastinated and it only took about 40-45 minutes. Everyone should use this regardless of their tax status. Saves you money on tax preparation fees!!
What's great about it: Took less than 1 hour.
What's not so great: Was unaware of e-filing fee with state return.

It's OK

The federal section was a breeze! Easy to understand and complete. The trouble started when it was time to complete the state return. After updating the software with the current state forms I was still charged a fee for the forms that should have been included in my deluxe version. The program wouldnt let me continue until I purchased the state forms. On the flip side of that I was told by support that I will be refunded the fees for purchasing the state forms within 7-10 days. Got fingers crossed!
