Almost Perfect!

As in past years, TurboTax was easy to follow and understand. And overall, I was very pleased with it. There are only 2 minor issues, which perhaps can be addressed in future years: 1. If you e-file your federal return but mail in your state return, it is easy to miss the state printing/completion portion and go right to the end of the system. 2. I had to file federal form 1310, which must be sent in separately when the federal return is e-filed. No address is provided for mailing this form, nor is any mention made of it in the filing instructions.
What's great about it: Easy to follow and understand
What's not so great: Filing address for extra forms not included; state tax filing by mail unclear

Just because you own your own home doesn't mean you are going to wind up better off with the deluxe version.

Trust over time

Turbo Tax has been my program of choice over the years. I will continue to use them as I have trust in their application (rare these days) and am confident that what I put in, is reviewed, and filed, will be the most accurate return I could generate.
What's great about it: Consistent and accurate
What's not so great: None at this time
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion), I moved

Gotta Love It.

I have been a user for many years and there is nothing out there that tempts to do anything but use it again next year.
It is easy to understand, simple to use and gets it right? What more could a taxpayer want? Oh yeah...a refund. TurboTax helps me get the right refund.

Next or Continue Button

I ask this of your every year. Can't something be done about fixing the location of the "Continue," button, that one does not have to scroll down or look around for it? Small item maybe, but when working on the return late at night, it gets frustrating to have to chase the button after each window change. Admittedly it's gotten better, it still happens. Once the cursor is set I can just click on, but sometimes, the button moves, for no apparent reason other than the programmer doesn't want to bother, just put it anywhere it felt like.
Also, felt there was a few "Continues" that appeared to be redundant. The window says "we're going to do this next," and when the continue button was hit, another continue button showed rather than just advancing to where it said it was going. (or did I just imagine that?)
At any rate, the program has gotten much better over all, and thanks for the opportunity to rant.

Turbo Tax is the best!

Have been using Turbo Tax for years. Had to file Federal and two states. Can't imagine doing these returns without Turbo Tax.
What's great about it: Downloads from brokers
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion), I moved, I bought or sold investments
