At each stage in the number gathering, I suggest you show the numbers as they will show up on the return itself. This way we can see if they look reasonable or if I might have made an error in typing in a number. If the overall to that point looks unreasonable, I could then go back and correct the mistake. Also, don't suggest filing before the returns are printed out in full detail.

One Of The Best

I am still wondering when I will have to use my pencils and pens again!!!!!
What's great about it: Easy to work with!!!
What's not so great: I have not foundany, Just my computer is a little slow,, but will correct that by next year!!!!
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

Love this program and have used it for years. I love taking control of my life and doing my own taxes.
What's great about it: Straight forward and easy to understand.
What's not so great: Errors in imported investment statement.

As always Turbo Tax provided the confidence I needed to be able to receive the highest possible refund on my taxes. Nothing like Turbo Tax for peace of mind.
What's great about it: The way Turbo Tax rolls over from the previous year information needed for the present year.

I have prepared my taxes since I began filing taxes. As the rules become more complex a software is very helpful to stay abreast of new rules. Automatic math calculation a must.
What's great about it: Last year information remembered, downloading 1099 info
What's not so great: I have real concerns

Please fix Mississippi 1099 MISC ERROR

Please fix the error of 1099-MISC information not pulling complete information from the Federal return to the MS State return.
I got error messages and was not able to E-file. Had to download one page from the MS State website and fill it in by hand.
Please correct this for 2013.

Info confusing on 1099-MISC on gains from Viatical

I attempted to file this gain on a 1099-MISC (Viatical investment), several different ways. After trying to file it as a business on Schedule C, the numbers did not make sense. Then I tried filing on Schedule A, that didn't seem right. I finally put the information on the 1040 form. So, so terribly confusing. This was the only issued that I had; however I spent hours on it after reading info pertaining to viaticals in Publication 525, calling the person who issued the 1099-MISC, spending 5 hours on the phone with the IRS and calling 4 Tax Preparing businesses. No one knew what to do.
What's great about it: No problems with any other areas
What's not so great: I spent so much time on the Viatical issue
