Love This Service

I love Turbo Tax! I have been using it without issue since 2003 until this year. This year, somehow I ended up upgrading to a product I didn't need. your customer serive rep was great, once I got to her. I was given a refund, I was given a downloadable copy, but unfortunately I now will not be able to access the 2012 copy online. I had this happen one other time, where I had to change my user name. My system crashed, so I no longer have access to my 2003-2005 tax returns.
What's great about it: ease of use and acess anywhere I am
What's not so great: can not downgrade if you accidently click on the wrong product

Refunds

There was no place to apply the NYS 2012 refund to 2013. The only choices were direct deposit, check or debit card. We could not e-file NYS because of this. There was no online help. You have removed the chat with a representative, so we had no way to work around this.

Irritating difficulty efiling

would not efile because of what it considered omissions on worksheets. they could not be fixed, so it would not proceed to efile and I ended up filing by mail. most annoying.
What's great about it: carried over info from prior years
What's not so great: didn't draw attention to NY forms not included but needed; problems efiling

I have used TurboTax to do my taxes for over 10 years. It continues to become easier to use. There is just no reason to go anywhere else.

Great, but.......

It is/was frustrating to have to go through detailed questions when all I wanted to do was claim mileage for business deductions. TTax should have a question up front that asks: "Do you wish to claim mileage only for deductions?" Then we could avoid entering information on vehicles.
Would like to see the forms as I move thorugh the interview process. TTax used to do that. Maybe I just missed how to do it.
