You really need to improve interface for K-1's and Form 1116.
What's great about it: Generally very good and easy to use
What's not so great: Entering data from K-1's is very difficult and linking to Form 1116 is also very difficult and cumbersome
Pros: I bought or sold investments

Put the writing in black not light light blue. Make the program compatible with MS magnifier. A sight impaired edition? Improve AL state form 40 program to allow entry of AL K-1 forms to be entered directly. I could not change a K-1 entry in AL tax return to reflect my AL K-1 income. It involved some depreciation allowances from an AL form 41 return. Cost me about $175 extra. The "easy" choosing of Pin numbers to use e-file would be funny to many of you but the time it took me to get through your confusing directions was exasperating to me. I'm a long-time user of TT.
What's not so great: You could be more easily used if ...

Turbo Tax printing is confusing
on September 11, 2013

Didn't pick up that we had a second car for personal use on CA state tax. Printing is very confusing since you explain printing, but all I wanted to do was print. And print for review came up after I saved as PDF and didn't show print for filing again.
What's great about it: Compared to 2011 taxes
What's not so great: Didn't pick up something from Federal and printing is confusing
Pros: I bought or sold investments

Biz Expenses are Hard to Find
on September 11, 2013

This program is overall very good except the small business deductions/expenses section. It pulled in all the data from our previous year's return but I had to dig and dig to figure out how to find/edit/update those entries.
I initially got all the way to the end and it hadn't asked me about business expenses. I had to go find it all and update it for this year. I don't understand how they could see that I had self-employment income, and they pulled in last year's expense numbers, but didn't automatically tour me through the business expenses section.
Frustrating. I'm pretty computer-savvy (its my business to be). If they say they direct users through that portion when required, clearly its not a well-marked path like the rest of the "tour."
What's great about it: The tour format was very simple, and since I used turbotax last year, most of my items were copied forwrd
What's not so great: The business expenses area is hard to find and difficult to edit

2012 Tax Return
on September 15, 2013

The whole area of filing K-1's upon partial or total sale of a position is pretty bad. There is lots of confusion - just read the many comments in google and elsewhere. Part of this is likely caused by the IRS. To make it even more complicated, some broker transaction reports provide the original cost basis, others provide an adjusted basis. What a mess! On the Form 116, it sure would be nice to have a more streamlined approach when multiple countries are involved. The Q&A implementation remains pretty cumbersome. Otherwise, great software! ---ColoradoRic
What's great about it: Generally very good. Carryover from year to year a plus.
What's not so great: K-1's and Foreign Tax Credit Form 1116.
Pros: I bought or sold investments
