Buy lots of paper first

Please consider doing summary sheets for interest and dividends, why print a separate sheet for each w/2, 1099, k-1, etc. for my records, as i already have the originals. Would be nice to have a summary at the of my copy that tells where each number is coming from and list each item that is included in each total. (This was a problem for me with many k-1's).
What's great about it: Seems to handle difficult transactions
What's not so great: Generates massive amounts of paper

I have seen the usability of the product decrease this year. There are imbedded questions, and the software does not provide an explanation of why you are rejected for a particular credit. As an example, there is a question on dependants on living with you year round. We have a student who lives at college. I went through this question series multiple times before I discovered guidance that if they were a student they did not need to live with you.

Used my own routing - long time TurboTax user Easy, as long as you have all of your info and most recent updates
What's great about it: Straightforward, even for the K-1 items
What's not so great: Too many updates to interrupt the flow

2012 Car Depreciation for multiple business
on August 27, 2013
Posted by: Anonymous
I had great difficulty with one car used in 3 business. The car was taken out of service for each business or no milage recorded for 2 business. For the one business that continued to use the car, a trade-in occurred mid year. No depreciation was claimed on the old car and only standard mileage deductions were used. Deleting the trade-in information for business where old car was not use in 2012 proved difficult.
What's great about it: Ease of Wage, interest and dividend
What's not so great: Problems with one car used in multiple business
