TurboTax is easy, even for itemizers

TurboTax is the perfect mix between doing in yourself and hiring a pro. Although I'm an itemizer and I have lots of deductions, it's actually really easy to handle the family taxes with this program. We have a great refund every year and I feel like the review is sufficient. Maybe there is a fancy CPA out there who could do more, but then I'd be spending my refund on a CPA and I'd much rather do the work myself and keep my money! TurboTax makes that possible.
What's great about it: thorough review of many deductions
What's not so great: never sure if there is a tax advantage you might be missing

Greatest tax program

I've been using TurboTax for probably at least 30 years or more, it's the only one I'll ever use. love it . Keep doing what you do, making the best tax program ever.
What's great about it: I like the whole package, layout, design, ease of use
What's not so great: none that I can find

Where's my return?

On 3/31/13 or 4/1/13 I completed and filed my Federal return electronically which is the same process I've followed the last few years. However, my return never made it to the IRS. I take responsibility for not following up on this sooner however, I didn't receive any emails or notifications that my return was not successfully received by the IRS.

Changing Fields

This year when the tax codes changed dramatically, it was nearly impossible to keep up with all the changes. Not as easy to do taxes as it once was.
What's great about it: easy for simple tax returns
What's not so great: does not allow for easy corrections

Doubled my usual refund

What's great about it: Very detailed in finding the small deductions.
