Mostly Good

Mostly good and easy to use. But the error fixing was very confusing. It stated errors (such as Form 5294, Line 3a), but did not show the context of the error. It took me a while to figure out to click on the "Form" button on the top to see the entire form to see the error in reference to the context. Otherwise, easy to use.

Good, but with concerns

As always, it makes it easy to do the taxes. This is the first year I've looked to see how many updates there are through the season. It makes me wonder, if I file too early will I miss something, or worse, have an error which would cost me interest or penalties.
What's great about it: quick and easy
What's not so great: file too early, miss critical updates?

I liked using Turbo Tax instead of taking massive amounts of paper to our accountant. I did get caught in a do-loop when trying to efile federal. Our tax bill is quite large every year and the program did not calculate the penalty tax. We just received a letter from the IRS w/a bill for the penalty. Hope that will be programed in next year's Turbo Tax.
What's great about it: Saved money by doing taxes ourselves.
What's not so great: Did not know how to pay penalty tax

2012 is behind me!

This product has been easy to use and seems to be very thorough. this is our 5th year using TurboTax products and I have been pleased with the results to date. I also use the Audit-Defense Fund option, which may be nothing more than a pack fee - i hope we never have need to know.
In the meantime, it's nice to have a product available that doesn't require a CPA to complete.
What's great about it: killed it on the refund this year....

2013 Tax Return

TurboTax makes doing taxes so much easier. From entering tax data, to having relevant advice handy. Also error checking and advice are invaluable. Also the ability to do what-if scenarios is made flexible enough. Even filing taxes electronically and direct deposit for refunds is trouble-free!
What's great about it: Excellent . Easy -to-Use Tax software
What's not so great: Cost for State Tax return. especially if you have multiple. State Electronic filing charge

Great tax program!

Overall a great tax program. My efile was rejected twice and I was notified immediately. Easy to use interview style and no actual accounting knowledge is needed. It's simple to use the efile, review and print returns. Highly reccommend.
What's great about it: Reliable, easy, accurate
What's not so great: Expensive

The total package for tax software

There are many different tax softwares out there but Turbo Tax has been around the longest and makes doing your taxes the easiest.
What's great about it: Inexpensive and Easy yet Comprehensive, Logical yet Adaptable, Minimize Time yet Maximize Refund
What's not so great: Many questions about investments, foreign banks, etc.. that don't effect me.
