Taxes Always Done With TurboTax

I've used TurboTax for about 10 years, and it's always been spot-on. And I plan to continue using it!
What's great about it: All of the appropriate forms are filled-in automatically as one answers all the tax questions.
What's not so great: EVERY YEAR, I have the same problem: Finding the per diem rate for transportation workers (I drive a big truck).

I've been using TurboTax for 20 plus years so I keep coming back but... each year there are too many sections that TT takes me through only to tell me I do not qualify because of income levels. I should not have to go through the section if that is the case. Also the AMT section is horrible. It asks for information from forms I did not fill out in prior years. The application should automate AMT required information
What's great about it: Imports, Step by Step Instructions, Running Tax or refund totals, Fast and accurate
What's not so great: Too many Unnecessary Sections, AMT Needs to Improve

t-tax my hero

I've been using t-tax since it's first came out. My math skills aren't the greatest but no hassle with t-tax. I tell all my friends about t-tax and how easy and complete it is. I'm a devout fan of the best tax software there is..Keep up the good work fellas.
What's great about it: easy, explains everything, catches my errors
What's not so great: i don't like the IRS

Quick and Easy

Suggestions for improvement:
In forms mode, if I click or double click on a number, I would like TT to take me to the source for the number.
Really confused on nonqualified use of home. Also, would have liked a comparison of 1031 exchange vs. sales of principal residence. If we met qualifications of exchange, which was would have been better, this year, in future? (Pretty big hit from depreciation recapture.)
I don't understand the California return at all. Need more help walking through adjustments.
What's great about it: Relatively simple to understand. Converts easily between forms and one step.
What's not so great: Need a little more explanation in some areas in order to appropriately answer the questions.

My fair rating is based on the short comings stated above. Secondly, if you do not e-file, the first copy of the printed return came out in the form of some kind of computer code.
What's great about it: Graphics
What's not so great: Having to return to the top of the return each time you completed a section of income and deductions
