This would be impossible w/o TT!

I really couldn't do it without TurboTax!! I processed our paper forms for years and it seemed to take forever to read through the entire tax booklet. Even then, I never knew if I was catching everything, for a maximum return. Even when you go to a tax professional, you still have to gather all the information and paperwork yourself, which is really the hard part! TT walks you through every single deduction possible... it's great!
What's great about it: Every year brings something new: child credits, college, personal changes. No more guessing at forms at the PO...
What's not so great: I couldn't find posted FAQ for all of my concerns. Not sure why so many forms print out blank?

I have used turbo tax for many years and have recommended it turbo tax to so many. Its easy and I always feel a sense of security that my filing is accurate.
What's great about it: ease of use; final review for risk of audit
What's not so great: cannot transfer data to states allowing free Turbo Tax filing

I keep coming back to TurboTax.. I have for years and years. I still have all may disks. I just can't imagine doing my tax returns without it. A Super Job...as always.

The software asks a question regarding 1099-R income that I didn't know the answer to. The help tab suggested that if you don't know the answer, you should call your plan administrator. I did. I was told the question was not appropriate for that pension plan. Google and the TT forum revealed that many others had the same problem, and could get no help from TT. The software provides no work-around for this situation, indeed, makes it worse by preventing e-filing without this information, thereby delaying refunds. Reviews of customer service are so dreadful, I'm not going to waste my time and raise my blood pressure by calling.
What's great about it: better than filling out the forms by hand!
What's not so great: requires form that is not appropriate to my situation

So easy to follow! Impressive!

Within hours after I e-filed my returns, Turbo Tax was quick to let me know my refunds were rejected, yet they assured me not to worry, that it was a simple fix... & sure enough, When I got back to my computer, it took no time at all to make a mere change to some information I had inadvertently mis-entered.
What's great about it: Step-by-step process made it quite the simple, non-stressing process.
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)
