tackled my taxes

over all turbo tax deluxe was very user friendly, from fist time user to complex college student with loans, rental porperties and multi incomes anyone can use it. I thank the creator for helping make me more self sufficient. for the people who pay alot to get your taxes done i suggest next year you buy a copy and try for yourself, you wont regret i promise.
What's great about it: gave me a detailed walk through

Moving Issues

I work in one state (IN) but moved to another (MI). State forms were difficult to figure out. Some descriptions were even misleading. I had to have someone work it out manually before understanding and being able to properly enter the required information in the correct fields.
What's great about it: General overall appearance / style / layout
What's not so great: State part year residence forms

Helped with my rejected return - simple fix!!

Turbo tax is a very easy software that allows you to get your taxes done with minimal tax knowledge. Whats more, this is the first year I've encountered a problem and the return was rejected. Thanks to TurboTax again, the fix was simple and the tax resubmitted.

Hidden Costs

Was hit by hidden costs of adding new states. Thought the cost of additional states should have been advertised on package.
What's great about it: Guiided instructions
What's not so great: Additional States cost as much as buying the main software
Pros: I moved, My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

I've used Turbo Tax for many years and it keeps getting better and better. I do my entire families tax returns, and love it.
What's great about it: Very usable, and thorough.

Easy to march through the entire filing - never a doubt that the right questions were going to be asked!
