We Make a great team

I took my time walking through TurboTax and I was excited when I discovered everything correctly. Except one of my K-1's. TurboTax would not allow me to transmit my e-file option until I corrected the issue. I checked and rechecked and finally found that I entered the "cents" number in the wrong location. Thanks for staying with me. The good news is it's filed and I feel comfortable about accuracy.

What's great about it: Easy & quick updates-- self-paced--clear instructions--just seems to fall inplace
What's not so great: The guy on the keyboard-- I may be old but I'm slow
Pros: I bought or sold investments

Awesome Product!

No problem with the product. Does just what it says it can do. Always finds more than just the big items. All the small details grow to become a great refund.
Was a little set back when I found that after receiving a successful e-file message, it was not filed due to an error that turned out to not be an error, which ended up filing on the 16th instead of the 7th. Glad to not have any late penalties due to a refund.
Overall, many thanks to all those who continue to make this product so awesome. See you next year. Mark

Life Saver

Easy to use by the average person or by a CPA. Downloading brokerage data is a time saver. Efiling works great. Even when efiling was rejected, the mistake was fixed and we were able to re-file with ease.
Sometimes easy guide is burdensome (too through) but I guess it's needed. I like to use explore on my own, but then I am not the average person. I have used Turbo Tax for Years. Would not switch.

Makes Tax-Time Easier

I feel confident that I am meeting the requirements of the law by answering the questions the program poses. I believe that the program is finding the greatest money return possible for my situation. It is a lot cheaper than hiring an accountant to do the job. When asked a question about a type of income that I didn't recognize, the help boxes explained enough about it for me to decide if it applied to me. I needed help in the actual filing of my state return, and a very competent person soilved the problem.
What's great about it: Guided through return; it makes the calculations and checks them;

Taxes as easy as ABC

I really like Turbo Tax. It takes the scare factor out of doing your taxes. Lets you get your refund without the anxiety usually associated with tax prep!!
What's great about it: Easy to follow
What's not so great: Not really a con but askes lots of questions!

Never Disappointed

The step-by-step instructions and resources available while processing my tax information are excellent, especially for when your employment or tax situation changes during the year.
What's great about it: I have used TurboTax for over 10 years. Even when I owe, I find the process easy and enjoy filing with TurboTax.
What's not so great: Two years in a row of entering dividends in ordinary and capital gains. TurboTax doesn't note double entries.

Excellent Program - Minor Points for Improvement

Turbo Tax is an excellent program for doing taxes, and I use it every year to complete my tax return. Turbo Tax makes the complex simple when it comes to taxes.
Taxes are so complex experts need to walk the general public through the process of filing their returns. Turbo Tax could increase its value by addressing the complexity of the tax code for the user.
Finally, provide an overview of the impact of the Affordable Care Act with enumerated definitions and explanations in the ACA so the user can better understand the value of Turbo Tax.
What's great about it: Intuitive, Concise, Clear
What's not so great: Why does Turbo Tax exist? Why are taxes so complex? Future Impact of ACA?Explain....
