gives good comparisons for different filing scenerios.
What's great about it: ease of going through return
What's not so great: had trouble with matching names of import companies with names on w2;s and 1099's.

Easy and straight forward

I have been dedicated TurboTax user for many years and I am very satisfied. Like many others, I have tried a few of the other tax preparation programs but none compare to TurboTax.
What's great about it: Very easy to use; help topics are very informative
What's not so great: nothing
Pros: I bought or sold investments

Easy filing

I have use Turbo Tax for years and can see the improvements each year. A quick and accurate return is the best measurement on the quality of the program.
What's great about it: pulling in last year's info
What's not so great: would like to skip sections at the beginning that do not apply

Great Product - need some fine tuning

I have used Turbo tax to prepare my returns for at least 7 years. I find it to be incredibly easy and is perfect if you do not have any "extraordinary" circumstances. I found that there is not enough instruction/explanation of how and why to do things. For instance, when using a car for business and you stop using that car and start to use another there is little detail and you automatically get into an "in kind exchange" loop, even if there was no exchange and the car was just removed from service.....
I will admit, perhaps I did not make use of the on line and phone help...maybe next year.
In general, I cannot complain about the product, very useful and gets better each year.

Easy as 1,2,3

Great tax software that takes most of the guessing out of filing one's taxes. Easy to navigate software with clear directions.
What's great about it: Easy import of previous years taxes saves a lot of time. Step by step instructions that make the process easier.
What's not so great: Not always easy to follow in property credits.
Pros: I moved, My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

Will Use Turbo Tax again

Even with the glitch of SS# mismatch not getting caught upon the pre file review, I wil definately use again , and recommend to anyone!
What's great about it: Easy data entry, Easy way to enter Charitable Contributions
What's not so great: Did not notify of Social Security number Mis Match upon review.

Great Way To Do Taxes!

I have used TurboTax for many, many years. I have always loved using it for doing my taxes. For me I really do not have any complaints except for one small one. Seems like every year I try and use the vehicle use tax deduction but back out because I forget you need the exact mileage. It would be nice to have a list of some sort saying (you need to have the following items) before you proceed.
Besides the above concern, being walked through my taxes is great. Not only do I get my taxes done and sent off but I also have a good understanding of what I have submitted because of the explanations giving along the way.
Thank you for a great product.
What's great about it: Love the guide
What's not so great: Sometimes when you back track the program still puts the deduction item in the form anyway.

Easy to Use

We have a unique situation with my husband working in one state and our family living in another. TurboTax was easy to navigate and filing went quickly.
What's great about it: Each answer you give leads you to the next question that is appropriate for your tax filing
What's not so great: None
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)
