The EASIEST!

Been using Turbo Tax for many years. Found it easier to use this year and loved the fact that it alerted me to a deduction I was missing! Didn't feel however, that I could find the answer to my deduction question easy enough though or someone to call or chat to. Big Bummer because I was scrambling on April 15, 2013 at 11:45 :(
What's great about it: Helped me find deductions I would have missed!
What's not so great: Couldn't find answers easily to some deduction questions

Clear and Easy!

I have always used Turbo Tax because it is thorough, provides support if needed and the It's Deductible software makes it easy to manage donations of goods and services. I like the electronic uploading of investment informatoin and my W-2 form (prevents clerical errors) and the qualtiy assurance check at the end. As a previous user, my past tax information is accessed by the current software and comparisons across years can be made.
What's great about it: Step by Step with available information, Liked the community support when I had a question.
What's not so great: I didn't realize I hadn't e-filed yet.

Turbo on the go

Im one of those people who hate doing taxes, but we must do the do so Turbo tax has been my way for the past 10 years. Hasn't failed me yet. It's almost idiot proof with easy to use guides and instructions. Some of the new laws get a bit confusing, but if I can get thru it, 90% of others will too. The best part is how fast I can get it done. This year, took me 2.5 hours... And that was mostly looking for receipts and paperwork from morgage and bank statements. Not bad. Not bad at all. Go turbo!!!
What's great about it: Fast and easy even if you wait till the 11th hour.
What's not so great: Just the language, but thats common.

Like to do my own taxes

Turbotax gives me the ability to do my own taxes at a reasonable cost without having to pay an accountant. I would prefer a little more detailed explanation sometimes and I miss the tip section that used to be there but overall it's still a good value.
What's great about it: Accurate calculations
What's not so great: No tip section on the right anymore

As usual, I waited until the last minute to do my taxes. With my eye on the clock, I went through the THOROUGH interview process. TurboTax covered EVERYTHING for me! As the clock neared midnight, I was able to file my return electronically. No sweat, even though I was down to the wire. Until next year, TurboTax....
What's great about it: Super easy to use, step by step interview process
What's not so great: It didn't make my coffee for me

Before using turbo tax, I was afraid to file my own return, but my friend Ann convinced me of the the easy and understandable way which is turbo tax. she guided me on my first time, after that I feel confident and secure filling my taxes with turbo tax. now my third year using turbo tax ,I have encouraged my son to try the program and this year he filed his own taxes with turbo tax. HOORAY for turbo tax.
What's great about it: It's easy and understandable
What's not so great: some notes do not have enough explanation.

Peace of Mind

The ease of use is what keeps me coming back and the accuracy of the program. In the early days, this program was clunky to use; but now it has evolved like a swan from an ugly duckling. I get a real peace of mind knowing that your program really does cover most of the areas that I am going to need. Its almost magical in how you anticipate what i will need and then provide it. My only real complaint this year, was trying to find the K-1 and the program telling me i needed to upgrade to the business program (which I already own for my business), when the deluxe program was quite capable of handling my situation. I liked the old way you used to make forms available, but i found it finally an it worked smoothly. I liked the fact that the program carried through my calculations, but i was a little off put at the start; not realizing that it had. For example, the schedule a, it hand taken some numbers from my k-1 and put them in the proper location, but i didnt know that and wasted some time trying to manually input the numbers. However, im just an old dude not used to some of this cool new technology. I really do like using your program and will continue to do so as long as you maintain your standards or i go to that big deduction in the sky. I often reccomend your program to my family and friends and i do prefer it to some others that i tried when i got weak and got drawn to the dark side, but then i came back where i belonged. Thanks for all your work.

What's not so great: Accessibility to some forms not to easy.
