Simple and Stress Free

OMG!!! This was by far easier than I thought it was going to be. In addition to the nice return I did not have the hassle of having to spend a couple days traveling back and forth to the "tax man" I usually have prepare my taxes. The product was very user friendly and very easy to understand. The hints and help features were invaluable.
What's great about it: Tax filing for the tax challenged

Great software architecture and quality!

Pros and Cons already mentioned above.
2 other areas of improvement -
1. Education dialog - If deduction is not allowed, the reason for it is not clear at all - especially if due to income level being above MAGI.
2. Please make it easy to find out one's MAGI. So many credits and deductions are based on MAGI, but that single number is not presented anywhere. Needlessly vague aspect in the tax product here.
What's great about it: Complex piece of software makes it so simple for regular people. TurboTax software is best of breed!
What's not so great: IRA section in tax dialog misleading. Non-eligibility due to income levels not presented clearly in dialog.

Yay for TurboTax

I always wait till the last min to file my taxes. Want to hold onto any money that I may owe for as long as I can. Turbotax always makes it quick and easy to file both my federal and state returns

once again a great product, but how hard is it to write the program so that when an error, in my case a worksheet error, how hard would it be to be able to click on a link that takes me automatically to the specific worksheet where the problem was?
i called customer support and received awesome help from marco in colorado, he was great, very quick and efficient.

My 2012 TurboTax experience

I have been using Turbo Tax since it first came out. The simplicity and ease of use just keeps getting better each year. It's great to see the refund tally up as the questions get answered.
What's great about it: Menu Driven - self paced

12 Years Running Excellent

Started using it for my 2001 tax return and haven't ever thought of filing another way. Too easy and inexpensive for all the success I've had filing my taxes. Look forward to doing this again next year!
What's great about it: Quick, Thorough, Easy to Ready and Easy to Get as Much Detail as you Want
What's not so great: None - except that it's so easy I always put taxes off until the last day!
Pros: I had a baby, My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion), I bought or sold investments

This year was very complex and time consuming on my part. TurboTax made it easy and was able to file on time and maximize my refund. Great Product!!!
