I have used Turbo Tax for the last 4 years and each year I am amazed at the overall ease to use the product.
Knowing the general format, I can anticipate and save the things I will need to get through the product with ease.
Having retired in 2012 I was concerned about anything I hadn't planned for, but happy to say your program kept me on track.
What's great about it: Step by Step follow through and comparisons to prior year
What's not so great: NONE
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

IMAC VIEWING

I am use to expanding my screen out (enlarge) till I don;t need my glasses, but I haven;t found that option on my new iMac. Windows program had 3 A to enlarge text?
What's great about it: Looks the same on iMac as windows, no retraining
What's not so great: SMALL PRINT

Great tool

As a CPA I find this a very easy tool to use. I used both the Federal and the State applications. I have used TT for at least 10 years.
Only regret is if you purchase it too early in the season you will pay more because pricing drops as Tax season progresses.
What's great about it: Easy to use

Another easy tax year

Using TurboTax again made our tax filing a breeze. I needed help with one question and got it easily through online chat. It didn't take much time to complete our taxes and get them e-filed.
What's great about it: Straightforward, good guidance, easy to use
What's not so great: Minor confusion over capital gains carryover

Turbo Tax Surprise Changes

I have always downloaded Turbo Tax Basic and it served me well. I did not download it this time because it said online "printing not included". What does that mean? I need to print it if I want to file by mail. So I purchsed it at a local store so I could read what it says on the box.
This did not print the forms as it used to, but gave me a *.pdf file I could print to file by mail.
What's great about it: Used Turbo Tax for Years and now depend on it.
What's not so great: Noticed some changes I did not know about.

Very good uses of turbotax

I have used it for 12 to 14 years and love it. It does me justus. I would recounded to everyone to use. EASY TO USE AND FOLLOW. Just have all your papers and forms and things ready to work. And your computer and drink and snacks ready to work. Have Funny.
