Amazing !

It was really easy to do. This was the first time doing it my self and I didnt have any problems. Although there was alot of question that I didnt really apply to me.

I've used Turbo for a few years the carry forward and step by step guide make it too easy.

Not-so-Turbo Tax

Well.. here's another year that I have used Turbo Tax and I was NOT impressed! I am really disappointed with how slowly Turbo Tax loaded and operated and it was definitely not user friendly.
What's great about it: Audit review
What's not so great: Extremely slow loading & operating
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

I was sent a an additional $504 tax bill from the IRS after filing my 2011 return. It was generated for form 6251 Alternative Minimum Tax. After reviewing my form and the worksheets I was able to explain to an IRS agent over the phone why the additional $504 tax bill was incorrect. At first the IRS agent kept insisting she was correct. After consulting with a supervisor I received a call back from her thanking me for teaching her something new. After a couple of weeks I received a notice explaining the amount due was $0.00 and the inquiry was closed. TurboTax is a breeze to use and you can trust in the software's accuracy of your return. :)
What's great about it: Accurate and very easy to use.

turbo tax comes thru again!

I have been using turbo tax ever since I started doing my own taxes. They have always been correct and fast. Every year the program gets more detailed and stays current with new tax changes. Every January I start looking for Turbo Tax at the store ready to go!
What's great about it: fast, easy, support, transfers old data so I dont have to type all over again
What's not so great: a few glitchy spots in the program

Pretty elaborate, clean and effective. Liked it and will recommend to others. Have tried other applications but I incline more on Turbotax.
What's great about it: Fast, Simple and Easy
What's not so great: Expensive
