TT Always the best!!

I would not go with any other software. I have seen the others and TT is way more comprehensive and easy to use. I have been using it since 1999 and would not use anything else. All the commercial tax services that guarantee the second look and a bigger refund have nothing on TT, because most of them use software modeled after TT.
What's great about it: Fast accurate and easy
What's not so great: lots of questions, but this is how you get the best return.

Not bad

To do my own taxes, this was great. I flew through the process and had no problems. I do taxes for somebody else, too, and his have been a nightmare. Because he doesn't fit the mold, I couldn't find choices that met his circumstances. I ended up filing for an extension and will probably need help finishing his up.
What's great about it: Easy to use if you have a basic return
What's not so great: Not all the choices fit my circumstances

Overall the experience is good; however, you must flag where you are in the interview then go back to sections and then un-flag them. If you stay in step by step it does not give you a chance to go back to where you where in the interview. I want to say years ago, it seemed to have more code to assist where you were. Sometimes you get back, but it is general and then you have to read each question again to assure your answers, Seems somewhat clunky.
What's great about it: I have used Turbo Tax for many years and so far I believe I am getting a good return for my money.
What's not so great: Step by Step is tough sometimes.

THIS IS THE ONLY SOFTWARE I USE, IT STANDS UP WHEN I SUGGEST TO OTHER PEOPLE TO USE IT, I HAVE NEVER GOTTEN NEGATIVE FEEDBACK.

Last Minute Rescue

I was just too busy this year to think about filing my taxes before the last minute. I didn't panic because I had used Turbo Tax before. I started sorting my "stuff", about 7:30pm and had the Electronic Postmark Certification before 11:pm.
What's great about it: Fast & thorough
What's not so great: Kept asking to import info
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

So fast

I have used Turbo Tax since it came out. The only temptation to try anything different is the price. I have not had to use the extras - i.e. online assistant - because they make it so easy. I do tremble with e-file as I have had 2 years when my refund never showed up. This is my final try for e-file - and only because my printer is down. Everyone I have recommended this product to, has thanked me.
What's great about it: Can be completed quickly
What's not so great: Cost

Saved Time

A very simple powerful tool, that let me feel in control of the whole process. I have used the service for about five years now and have no plans on letting those other services rob me of something I can do myself.
What's great about it: Liked being in controll
What's not so great: no dislikes. Well I had to pay the IRS, not TT's fault though

I was very relieved to be able to get through the process without crying. It was quick and easy.
What's great about it: Quick and easy to complete
What's not so great: System required that I do several updates prior to starting and then again when it was complete.
