Simply divine way to e file!

I have used turbo tax for at least the past ten years to prepare my taxes. It is the easiest and most efficient tax software to work with. Thanks

I wish they offered more advice, especially for preparing taxes for next year. I was surprised that by living on unemployment, I still ended up with no Federal refund, and owed the State. I've met many people who made what I did, and received thousands in refunds.
What's great about it: Pretty thorough
What's not so great: Not enough advice
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

Got What I Expected

Overall, I had the usual easy experience with TurboTax. The only issue that came up was when my tax reporting statement described a merger that I could not easily figure out how to fit into TurboTax. I eventually squeezed it in, after trying a few questions in the community forum. I'm not sure I got it correct but it seemed like what I did was reasonable. Maybe TurboTax needs to consider specifically addressing mergers, which is what my tax statement called this action. If it already addresses mergers, maybe it needs to pop up more easily as a question for the user.
What's great about it: TurboTax made doing my taxes pretty much anxiety free.
What's not so great: My tax reporting statement described a merger that I could not easily figure out how to fit into TurboTax.

So easy

I use Quicken Home and Business throughout the year to keep my transactions accurate and categorized. I've really refined my system now so that, if I want, I can do my taxes in less than an hour.
What's great about it: Very refined and easy.
What's not so great: Not many improvements, but then what's to improve

GREAT EXPERIENCE. I THOUGHT MY TAXES WOULD BE IMPOSSIBLE TO DO ON MY OWN WITHOUT SPENDING HUNDREDS ON A CPA.
