I have been a dedicated TurboTax user every year for many years now. It keeps allowing me to step through my taxes and get them done on my time rather than paying another tax preparer. The step-by-step guide is an easy approach to doing my taxes.
What's great about it: TurboTax is very easy to use and is a complete step-by-step guide to doing taxes.
What's not so great: State tax EFile is not free.

Great Job Turbo Tax

It was and overall good experience other than a little wait for my return to be accepted
What's great about it: It was fast and easy took care all the paperwork
What's not so great: had a little trouble with accepting my federal return took two weeks
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

I really didn't & don't know anything about taxes & TurboTax helped this rookie actually do a decent job of filing my taxes. Thanks for all of your help & the ease of use.
What's great about it: easy & helpful to use
What's not so great: the charge for efiling at the end

I Love Turbo Tax :)

My husband and I have been using TurboTax since it was first released and in that time period have been very pleased with the program and its performance. It only takes us about 1.5 hours to file ourselves and it saves us a lot of money (no need to pay exorbitant fees to accountants). We have never been audited and have always received our refund in a timely manner. TurboTax has clear and concise directions and the help feature is spectacular! I love how it does all of the calculations for me. We have recommended this program to all of our friends and family and every person that has tried it has been equally as impressed and happy!
What's great about it: Quick and easy! It also automatically checks for mistakes.
What's not so great: None that I have found

Last Minute Savior

I truly liked the software's ability to pull in previous years information and show a comparison. I also like that it has a built in software to help price charitable donations.
What's great about it: The error checking feature and the exhaustive search for credits and deductions.
What's not so great: There could have been an easier way to decide if an IRA deduction would help reduce the tax due.

Easy to use, year after year

We've been using Turbo Tax for years. It really makes it so easy to import last year's return and start from there. My state tax credit carryovers are there, my kids' information is there, just so much easier than starting from scratch. I love how the wizards step you through things - no need to know a lot about taxes to use it.
What's great about it: I love the fact that all my return information (including carryover credits) are saved from year-to-year,.
What's not so great: Paying extra to eFile state
