Great Software!

I have been using Tax Turbo ever since it became available years ago, back when I had to print the forms with my DOT MATRIX PRINTER! It took hours to print all the completed forms.
What's great about it: It gets better each year.
What's not so great: None
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion), I bought or sold investments

Menopause Mom likes Turbotax

I like TurboTax because it guides me step by step through my taxes. I am not an accountant. I just don't want to pay an accountant. I can do it in chunks of time, and in my spare time, sometimes in the middle of the night. I like the little encouraging photos and that it tells me, "this is not common", so I know not to worry about it.
What's great about it: Like the step by step hand holding
What's not so great: Some words used are still a little complicated

Great Do It Yourself Tax Software

THis is a great Software and I completed my return in less than 2 hours.
What's great about it: It is self explanatory and anyone can file with the proper documents
What's not so great: I could have pop up bubbles for items you want to research instead of a click

great tool

I spent many years filling out forms for Accountants and talking to them. The same questions were asked and info filled out.... the math is the same, No need to spend $100s to do what turbo tax does!
What's great about it: FAST, EASY
What's not so great: NONE THAT i CAN SEE

Great 2012

I have used TurboTax for many years without problem. I could say that ...there is no pain in tax preparation. This year was different, though. I had gotten pension from EU country and have had a lot problem to to file it in Turbo. Simply, such a option was not stated clearly. I hope, that till next year this problem will be fixed in Turbo.
What's great about it: Excellent software with professional guidance system.
What's not so great: Some options are not clearly stated.

The skin of my teeth

at the last minute I was able to file both my state and federal taxes with out any pressure. I know the return are just as correct as the information I entered in the blanks. I will use turbo tax again and again.
What's great about it: able to file at the last minute
What's not so great: none
