Easy to use

I've used turbo tax for the last 5 years and believe I'll continue using it. It's easy to use and I have had no problems as of yet with any thing, software or other wise.
What's great about it: all the help tips
What's not so great: I didn't get a refund :(

Turbo Is It !

I have used Turbo Tax all but one year since 2002. In 2010, I purchased a competitor's package for less money. Yes, you guessed it! I regretted that decision. Of course, I switched back to Turbo Tax the following year.
What's great about it: Very thorough with help always available
What's not so great: The cost, but worth it.

Turbo Tax is the best product on the market for doing your own taxes. It's easy to use and gets the best refund.

1040EZ filing

I did my son's taxes and there is no provision I could find to skip deductions for 1040EZ filers. Waste time going through the process

It is easy to use for both veterans and rookies alike.
For Veterans, go straight to the forms then review afterward.
For rookies. use the interview mode.
The Instant ReCal feature is good for "what-If" experiments but it slows down the data entry. Would be nice to be able to turn it off sometimes.

Good but you should double check your forms

Qucik and easy to use, but make sure you check your forms. I realized after I filed electronically that it had left some data from last year instead of replacing it with what I entered in the wizard.
What's great about it: Quick and fairly easy
What's not so great: Found bug that caused an error on one of my forms
