OK but this year it was hard to see the final product without review of form 1040. seems like it was easier in prior years. I wanted to adjust payment for next year taxes but it was not easy to do

Shocked and appalled!

Have used Turbo Tax for nearly a decade to file my taxes, and since I'm in the financial industry I file for a few select family members....UNPAID! This year, on return #6, the same 6 I've always filed, a surprise message that the "IRS" is limiting us to no more than 5 e-filings per customer. Very nice to know on tax filing deadline at 9 pm! Now it will let me file a state return, the one that costs $20 bucks. But not the federal. I think it's not the IRS, they offer FREE filing direct on their website. This is nothing more than Turbo Tax trying to find a way to inhibit people from making money on their basic version software. The IRS couldn't care less how many returns are e-filed from Turbo Tax software. Thanks for the awesome surprise Intuit. I think I'll try a different software next year. Now my federal return will be late, since I always do my own last. Thanks a freaking lot!!!

I've been using Turbo Tax for years. Each year filing my taxes seem to get easier. The free filing was a plus. I will use turbo tax next year too.
What's great about it: Easy to use, easy to file, free filing.
What's not so great: None

TurboTax for the Simple Minded

I only got this version because it included State software.
What's great about it: Dead Easy to Use
What's not so great: Far more functionality than I needed.
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

Speed of processing is improved this year, but it took longer to see answers to questions others had asked. TurboTax is well worth the investment though!
What's great about it: Speedy processing/Love that last year's tax info brought over for comparison
What's not so great: Getting help is slow
