Time saved is worth the money

Been using Turbo Tax for years without much trouble. Once we invested the time to enter all the data for one year, the next years have carried over with most of the important information, and saves us a great deal of time.
What's great about it: quick and easy if you used the software last year
What's not so great: this year...none.

I really like using this product. It isn't always easy finding the publications you might need to do your taxes with. It's great that everything I might ever need are already included in the program. Keep up the good work Intuit!!!!!!!!!!

Worked OK with very minor difficulties

Generally speaking this product works great. It is very easy to use and allows you to save and print as much or as little of your working papers as you want to. I say, the more you save the better off you are. I especially like the comparison to your previous years activity. I highly recommend this product to everyone.
What's great about it: I have been using Turbo Tax since it first came out and have found it very easy to walk thru the screens on my own.
What's not so great: It kept telling me I had a W-2, haven't had one since 2009. It took an hour to find and delete the line item.

Copying the info from last year's returns was really helpful, but last year''s returns never were received by the IRS or the state.electronically. I had to manually carry the returns in to the local IRS and Maryland tax offices and pay a fine for being late. Please keep me apprised with the syayus of this year's returns. Other than that, the Turbo Tax program is relatively easy to use, even for an 84 year old Luddite.
What's great about it: I liked the way it leads you thru the process.
What's not so great: The final process to finish and file is difficult and slow.

human touch

I had a good experience filing my return this year. The tax tool is easy to use. But, I miss those video clips that explain new tax law and give examples. Those video clips add some human touches and make the filing process a bit painless.
What's great about it: easy to use
What's not so great: missing audio/vedio presentation

Watching Refund due Climb!

Very good software. I have used for over 10 years and it gets easier to use every year. I love the boxes providing more information and clarification to any questions I have. Going back and submitting changes is also a breeze. If there is a downside it would have to be Charitable Contributions. It's Deductible is great but I would like to see more items in the database. Also, and this may be only for my specific tax situation, but I seem to spend a good 30 percent of the total time it takes to do my taxes in the Charitable Contributions section. Overall an excellent product and I see no tax situation in which I will ever take my taxes to a professional.
What's great about it: Very simple to use. Can dig down and get detailed information on any tax subject.
What's not so great: Love It's Deductible but would like an even bigger database of items.
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)
