Ease of Turbo Tax

I have used Turbo Tax for years. It is easy to use and easy to follow directions. Transfers data from year to year.

Consistant year after year

Tried another brand once and didn't care for it. I've been using Turbo Tax for the last 7 years and see no reason to change.
What's great about it: Love being able to pull forward last years information.
What's not so great: Some areas can still use some improvement in their context based help.
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

So Easy!

I've never done taxes on my own before as a young adult, my parents have always taken care of that for me. The step by step guide made it super easy to walk through and make sure I got the best refund possible.

Super fast and no nonsense

Easy to follow questionnaire to step through filling out the forms. Easy e-file process, got my refund within a week. The only thing to criticize is the Have a Question Section on the right menu. There was a question that was posted that I needed to answer to and it was left unanswered. I had to look elsewhere to find the answer.

Filing module is combersome. Easier navigation needed for novices. Trying to print forms for mailing was difficult.
What's great about it: Very thorough. Finds every conceivable legal deduction, Accurate.

Excellent Tax software

Great software, I finished my return in about 3 hours.
The software downloads must of the complex data from brokerages or banks and even the W-2 from employers.
The guided option is very easy to follow and very comprehensive (although slower) and ends up being a good option if the user has a more complex return (as I do) that includes stock trades, partnerships, foreign taxes, etc.
The contextual help is great and when in doubt a click away does the job. The information provided is accurate. In my case, I needed a new IRS PIN and just called the number indicated!
The software also provides a final error check and integrates the Federal and State returns so that data transfer is easy and painless
What's great about it: Easy guided steps, comprehensive, built-in contextual help, error checking
What's not so great: a bit confusing to go back and correct numbers, need to start on section beginning
Pros: I bought or sold investments

Works Great

I have used this software since 2002 and it helps take the stress out of filing taxes. With owning my own business, each year has different issues that I am confronted with and Turbo Tax has always been able to walk me through them. That makes it very easy to file a more complex return and saves me a bunch of money on a tax professional.
What's great about it: Takes you through the process step by step so you don't miss anything.
What's not so great: I would like to have a live chat option for when I have a question that the "help" funtion fails to clarify.

Easy Filing

Overall, easy and I believe this gives us all options for deductions and credits. Would like to see more information about limits on claiming deductions (how much you are allowed for each category) and what can be carried over to the next year.
I would rather click at the bottom of the page to "skip" or answer "no" rather than having to click "none of these" and then another button at the bottom of the page.
