Taxes made easy

This program makes paying taxes a lot easier although I can't say fun! The process is simple and quick and the efile can't be beat. Love it and do recommend it to others.

Ok, could be better with selling house guidelines

In general I like Turbo Tax. Have used it since 1998. This year I sold my house. I didn't think it had enough helpful hints and underlined areas for guidance in filling out the forms. The specific area that needs more underlines and help hints is related to business office depreciation. I had to do a lot of searching to find out where to get this info from prior year returns. There should be some underline link to take you to something that says go to line x on x worksheet and enter the amount. That would have made a 6 hr process a 5 min thing.

What's not so great: not enough info for items related to selling house

turbo tax rocks!

I can't imagine going back to the days of filing in the tax info by hand and reading over all the forms and trying to decide which ones were necessary!
What's great about it: turbo tax makes filing a tax return (almost) fun!

Turbo-Tax is overall well laid out, follows a concise and logical pattern. Each topic is well covered and on-line help is always available. (So is live assistance.)
The calculations are accurate and each section may be reviewed at any time. Oh, you can also stop at any time and the program picks up where you left off when you start again. Very cool feature.

What's great about it: Have used this product for at least ten years. Always easy and accurate, even when I did not get a refund. Very thurough
What's not so great: E-filing an extension was a little "round-about" but once I clicked the links to see where they led, it was ok.

Paying taxes

Have been using Turbo Tax since 2005 and will definitely use the software again next year! Really like the fact that you can take it step by step or skip sections.
What's great about it: Very easy to use
What's not so great: Honestly can't think of anyhing I don't like about Turbo Tax

Quick & Easy Taxes

We've used Turbo Tax since 1995 and it has always been quick and easy even filing on 4/15. I know we should not wait til the last minute but tax time rolls around faster and faster every year and we always seem to get caught doing taxes the weekend before they are due. Thank you Turbotax for saving our behinds!

Good product. Working through the software for my return went smoothly. Had a little difficulty filing but after 1 hour 10 minute hold, I connected with Keva who was very helpful and overcame whatever was happening earlier. My returns are in!
