Difficult return this year

I'm a big fan of turbo tax, but felt that this year was the hardest year to do taxes. I feel like I left money on the table and missed deductions. My return was so small. The state taxes are still difficult and are hard to navigate. The forms do not seem to sync well and I always have trouble with the Delaware return for allocating income for two wage earners. Something is always wrong and takes forever to correct. But for all my complaints, the program is still the best one out there. :-)
What's great about it: Quicker run through of categories
What's not so great: I feel like I left money on the table

Its an amazing program that makes doing your taxes quite simple, and allows you to spend time doing other things. It helps you get the most out of your return.

Great product

I found the 2012 product the best ever for doing my taxes. There were many change for me this year and the software enabled me to focus on the important information. I especially like access to ITS Deductible. A more effective tool than trying to gather the value of donated items. This one add on is worth the value of the total program. Plus I have a more complete record that I would have other wise. It is a pleasure to use.
What's great about it: Keeps focused on the goal to gain maximum benefit
What's not so great: None
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

Best Tax Returns!!

I Love Turbo Tax. It guides you and its simple to do and explains as you go. I use this every year its the quickest, cheapest and fastest way to do your taxes and gives you all the new up to date tax laws to get your maximum deductions. This is great for anyone to do!

Turbo tax should have a snapshot of the amount of deductions you need to bother attempting to qualify for medical, etc. exemptions

I was scared at first

I was afraid I would have to pay 6 to 10k in taxes with the sale of my home and the home forgiveness but after it was all done I only have to pay $885 in tax. I waited until the last minute to file my taxes and it worked out ok. I feel happy and calm now. Woof!
What's great about it: finished taxes on time
What's not so great: got lost in the home sale and loss forms

FAST AND EASY!

I STARTED MY RETURN AT 10:25 PM ON 4/15 AND COMPLETELY FINISHED THEM (WITH A 10 MIN, TV BREAK) AT 11:36PM. THAT'S WHAT I CALL EASY AND FAST!! THANK YOU TURBO TAX!
What's great about it: FLOWED WELL FROM W-2 TO TURBO TAX. VERY EASY

I have used Turbotax for several years and have always preferred it over other tax software that is available; however, this year was quite frustrating. I generally would have rated it high but not this year! There was some sort of glitch on the simplified method worksheet for pensions and annuities. After reading many other complaints in the community with the same problem there was finally one that had an answer to actually fix it. You had to delete the whole entry and re-enter and then it would accept it so you could file. I wasn't very happy with it this year due to the stress it caused me.
