How I Didn't Lose My Pants

I took accounting classes in college and wanted to be in the business field. In using Turbo Tax, I felt like the accounting whiz that I wanted to be. Turbo Tax helped my wife and I successfully do our taxes and get the most out of the money we earned and spent for the year. Turbo Tax especially gave my wife peace of mind and I felt like the hero explaining the process.
What's great about it: The step by step process to review your taxes for the Average Joe
What's not so great: None

Greatest program ever

I have recommended Turbo tax to so many people over the years. I had even purchased another program one year and had to turn around and get Turbo tax. The other program could not even come close to this product. easy step by step. Guides you for more deductions. very simple and easy. I did tax's by hand and had a CPA even H&R Block prepare my taxes prior. Then I found Turbo tax and recommend it to everyone i can. Friends and family come to me for help with their taxes and Turbo taxs.
What's great about it: walked thru every step

TurboTax Continues to Impress

TurboTax imports last years information and lets you see at a glance your data from the previous filing year. This helps you find deductions you might normally have overlooked.
The interview continues to be helpful, but I nearly overlooked increasing my IRA to $5,000. More documentation or tips on this subject would have been appreciated.
Overall TurboTax improves each year. I am still not sure why state e-filing is not made mandatory and free.
What's great about it: If you are an expert, you can jump into an Easy Step Topic and work on it or return to complete later
What's not so great: Documentation and Interview on HSA topics is weak

What's great about it: Questions and steps are very clear and plain language
What's not so great: Summary show each of the previous categories makes for a long list.

Easy peasy. The whole process took less an hour! I'm sold!
What's great about it: Took me straight through all the way to E-Filing!
What's not so great: Nada.

Quick and easy

We use Turbo Tax every year, for I don't know how many years, even though my brother in-law is an accountant. We feel comfortable with the program and can do our taxes up to the last few hours with no problems or worries. Thanks
What's great about it: easy to follow instructions
What's not so great: cost on filing state return
