Made procrastination easy!

Every year TurboTax makes tax filing an easier chore. I waited until the last minute, and was still able to file federal and state returns in one day. This year we had medical deductions, education deductions, 529 distributions, 401K withdraws and rollovers, charitable contributions, and multiple stock sales. I thought I would just have to file an extension, but I was actually able to complete the returns in a day.
What's great about it: Each year the on screen guidance for each question becomes more clear and concise
What's not so great: Can't always find what I need easily in help.

EASY PEASY

I am not good with money or numbers but it is so easy to use even my high school daughter was able to do it.
What's great about it: Used it previously so all my information from previous years was already entered for me.
What's not so great: Having to look up Dependents SS number
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

I have used Turbo Tax for as long as it has been available. I would and do highly recommend it to all my friends and co-workers. It makes a painful job of filing taxes a little easier.
What's great about it: Simple, very interactive
What's not so great: Complicated, but that's the government for ya

Support was super! Intuit and CPA. Do feel your program needs to be checked. There seems to be a problem with data going from FED Tax to State of GA Tax forms. Would not seem to acknowledge that spouse was a TX resident and I was GA. CPA helped to workaround
What's great about it: Person who helped me was super nice and very patient with me
What's not so great: Think there is a dis-connect between federal and GA Tax returns
