Doing Taxes is a Breeze

We have been using turbo tax for more than 6 years. It is so easy to do, and the improvements have made it even more simpler over time. It has guides and details for those who may not understand something or know if it applies. And I especially love knowing I have an audit guarantee. If you have the time to do your taxes, this is the program for you.
What's great about it: easy to follow instructions. guides for further information.
What's not so great: none at the moment

Turbo Tax Deluxe

I approach tax preparation with trepidation every year. I don't know why. Turbo Tax is easy to use and I am pleasantly surprised by the refund amount. I wish that I remembered this every April.
What's great about it: Easy to Use

TurboTax is so easy to use and will save you a ton of money. It gets you every deduction possible and makes filing your taxes faster than than ever before. Ya gotta have it!
What's great about it: TurboTax is smarter than a room full of accountants.
What's not so great: I just wish I'd started using it earlier than I did.

Dealing with Rejection

I am not happy with your instructions. I received a text message stating my Illinois Taxes were rejected and if I opened the forms on my computer, it would walk me through the process to correct the issue.
However, the instructions were poorly written.
"What needs to be done"...To fix this error please follow these steps carefully, STEP 1 If you need to reference this status information anytime click on the Filing button on the EasyStep Progress Bar from the Easy Step Navigator, select Get Electronice Filing Status"...
There is no "Filing" button. What is the "EasyStep ProgressBar"?
I tried to edit the section it was asking for and could not find or add a PIN.
Additonally, it listed a URL but I could not copy and paste the address ( I use a PC)
Very confusing and misleading instructions, it was very frustrating for me.
As a result of the poor instructions, I worry if my taxes will be submitted before the midnight deadline and if they will go through properly, your instuctions were not clear on how to fix the issue. I paid $20 extra dollars and now have to stress about my getting my taxes in on time.

Fantastic Experience

I find Turbo Tax to be most helpful. It helps me feel confident about doing my taxes.
What's great about it: Step by Step is so clear and I can go back to explore on my own!
What's not so great: Hard to see 'print' like version while doing taxes - prior to printing

Very Thorough

I did have trouble with your on-line version. During the final review it found an error but got stuck in a loop and I couldn't get out. I purchased and installed the digital version on my computer, re-entered all the information and had no problems.

TurboTax Deluxe is THE BEST VALUE! I may not have gotten every deduction that I would have by using a professional accountant. However, I don't believe a professional accountant would have gotten sufficient additional deductions to cover their cost. Thanks Turbotax. And thanks for the option to hire representation. The peace of mind is well worth the price.
What's great about it: Very detailed, in depth explantions of terms, instant submittal
What's not so great: doesn't explain if HOA dues are deductible for a room rental
