Awesome Program

I've used TurboTax now for the last 10 years and each year the program gets better.
What's great about it: User friendly, thorough, convenient, affordable
What's not so great: Nothing
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

Made it easy

Turbo Tax is easy to use with the step by step instructions that lead you through the process. The first year I used Turbo Tax, I was skeptical that I could get the same level of refund that I got the previous year with a professional tax preparer, but I was pleasantly surprised at my refund. I have used Turbo Tax every year since then. I especially like that the program downloads my tax forms from my employer and my financial institutions and then fills in the pertinent data, so I don't have to spend time doing that. This year I had a few investment items, and Turbo Tax helped me know what data was missing and where to find it. Turbo Tax makes filing my tax return pretty easy, and I'm confident it was done correctly.
What's great about it: I really like the program downloading my tax forms from my work and financial institutions.
What's not so great: I don't like the added on cost to e-file state taxes at the end.
Pros: I bought or sold investments

I don't know how people do taxes without it

I love how it reads in last years return to save time on setting up this years and allows you to compare year on year for a reasonableness test. It just walks through the process to the end, but allows you to go backwards with ease. Only frustration is the error checking which you can run and get an all clear than run again and it finds a minor error. I also noted that some check boxes didn't stay checked and came back up on the error check. But minor issues frankly.
What's great about it: Thorough, quick, and complete
What's not so great: error checking needs work

I am a regular TurboTax user, and I find it very simple to use. Thanks for making tax time a bit more pleasant! :)
What's great about it: simple to use; very handy to prepopulate with last year's information
What's not so great: sometimes cumbersome to step through multiple steps to indicate rare circumstances not valid

TurboTax Deluxe version

I have used TurboTax since the first edition was put out. I like the variety of the program levels depending on one's tax criteria. Example: When I had a small business, I used the Home & business version. Now that I don't have the business, I can purchase the version that meats my current needs. I have not needed the "external assistance", but having that option to sign up for it at a great price is another reason for my using it. I do hope TurboTax will be able to handle the health care law tax issues next year. Thanks.
What's great about it: able to do our taxes without a CPA
What's not so great: don't like having to go thru IRS for detailed publications

I loved the verbiage and encouraging words used to direct and enhance the drudgery of filing taxes.
What's great about it: Mostly easy to understand the step by step process

I have been using TurboTax for the last 15 plus years. I would never use another software package.

Unhappy!!

FRUSTRATED!!!!
What's not so great: I could not e-File because I continued to get an error message on a K-1 entry. I tried multiple times.
