not for the tax expert

As always, T-Tax made it easy to do my return, even with extra complication this year. I wanted to ad extra forms (1098) by just looking for the form, but had to go back to the step-by-step process to do it. How about a look-up for specific blank forms?
What's great about it: comprehensive walk-through
What's not so great: hard to enter an extra form by form number

TurboTax is AWESOME!

The fact that "It's Deductible" is attached to TurboTax is the ultimate plus. I have been using TurboTax for many years and would not even consider a tax preparation person. TurboTax asks all the right questions and ensures you enter everything you can to get the best refund. Unfortunately, I rarely get a refund but TurboTax helps reduce my tax owed. Outstanding product that I will continue to use each year. Thank you TurboTax!!
What's great about it: TurboTax is very easy to use and guides you through each category. TurboTax asks the right questions. Awesome product.
What's not so great: I have been using TurboTax for many years and have not yet come across a "con". Good job TurboTax!!

Makes doing taxes painless!!

This is the third year I used Turbo Tax and it really makes doing taxes painless!! I was done with Federal and State taxes for my wife and I in 1 1/2 hour and that's with her having two jobs and we have a mortgage. Transferring the information from the previous years return is a clear advantage of sticking with Turbo tax year after year!! Thanks Turbo Tax!!

Help tool could be more friendly when you have a question.
What's great about it: Covers everything
What's not so great: Changes year to year, is it necessary? Gets confusing for complex returns.

Good but a bit redundant

Really good and helped along the way. But especially at the end, had me filling out the same pages over and over again. Would definitely recommend it. I do not mind answer a couple of questions over again as long as I am left feeling confident in my return!
What's great about it: exact, concise, helpful
What's not so great: redundant with the questions
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion), I moved, I had a baby

Might need CPA in 2013; Turbo Tax is great!

As long as you have your documents, it's a snap. You'll be done in less than an hour! If you don't have the documents you need, TT will remind you to get them, and you can save your info and come back to it later.
