A true Learning Experience

TurboTax really walks you through the filing process, takes you by the hand, and tells you what you really need to know. Everything went smoothly and there were no real surprises until the end - when you find out that eFiling costs extra. With Speed, Comes a Price.
What's great about it: Step-by-step through the filing process with plenty of info on the side!
What's not so great: You pay for the product and you pay again to file; but still cheaper than others.
Pros: I moved, My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

Easy to Use Refund

The process is so simple to follow. Step by step is wonderful.
What's great about it: It is so easy to navigate through the return process
What's not so great: A little more on the deductible items lists for construction hardware.
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

TurboTax has helped me understand the tax system better, what records to keep, and has helped me file a better return. Working with a tax preparer is only as good as what you know to give him, and if he asks you the right questions. I once had cows being depreciated 2 years after I had sold them because of failure to know what information to provide and failure of tax preparer to ask the right questions. I've now been a satisfied TurboTax user for 8 years.
What's great about it: Convenient, easy, and helps you understand taxes better.
What's not so great: I can't think of any.

Essential for dilators

I had extra challenges this year - sold and changed investments- so I needed to have TurboTax work right with no mysterious blind alleys. It came through for me
What's great about it: I like being able to enter areas out of order. This was easier than in previous years.
What's not so great: Redundant LT/ST Gapital gain confirmation on 1099-B
